Hello Beary Sweet Peeps!  I am super excited to bring you the latest trend in paper crafting.  We just took our first shipment of Japanese Washi Tape yesterday.  This stuff is so fun to use, and there are so  many fun ways to use it.  Adds the perfect decorative touch to your scrapbook pages, smash pages, cards and much, much more!

This is just the first shipment we took.  We have lots more fun prints and patterns on the way.

New Product Updates - Some Odd Girl

I am so excited to introduce you to a new stamp company in the industry... well, new to rubber.  Well, really, clear photopolymer stamps.

• Belles 'n Whistles Stamps arrived today!  They are cuter in person. You can order them HERE.  If there are other Belle's 'n Whistles stamps that you are looking for, please feel free to contact me.  I'll be more than happy to bring them to the shop for you.
• New Copic Marker colors will finally arrive on Tuesday.  Those of you that are still waiting for your pre-orders to ship, they will ship out Tuesday afternoon after UPS drops off the goodies.  Boy, have these been a long time coming, but expected given the tragedy that Japan has experienced.

New Echo Park Summer Days in Stock!

Hello my Beary Sweet Friends!  It's finally here, the latest collection from Echo Park appropriately titled "Summer Days".  Ohhh, there are brads, chipboard elements and rubons to accent this collection too.  And a yummy 6"x6" paper pad for all of our card making friends.  I don't know about you, but I can't wait for summer to get here.  Spring just isn't enough for me.  Florida weather is looking pretty good about now.  Okay, so I hear there is at least 3 months of 100+ degree temps, but it certainly beats 6 months of winter - YUCK!  There is always air conditioning and swimming pools, right?

New Echo Park Playground and more!!!

Hello our Beary Sweet Friends!  Happy Thursday to you all.  Really, is it Thursday?  Someone told me it was also Spring too but I have yet to believe them.  Yesterday morning we awoke to 10 inches of stinking SNOW!  I wish someone had told me it was supposed to snow.  Last I had heard (that was Sunday, btw) we were getting a dusting to 2 inches.  Abby came to my room and giggled me that she was ready to head downstairs for breakfast.  I woke up Lindsay, then Doug and headed down the steps for a much needed cup of java.  When I rounded the corner at the base of the steps, I glimpsed out the window and saw white!  What?  Really?  The road wasn't even plowed!  At this point I'm thinking, why didn't I hear the phone for the school delay.  Seriously?  Am I supposed to send the kidlets to school in this?  So I asked Abby if she noticed all the snow outside.  Well, she didn't either.  Silly me should have taken the cordless phone back to the bedroom when I was done with it because I never heard the phone call cancelling school.  5:30 am they called.  Darn it!!!  I could have slept in!!!  So the kidlets were home all day and I had a ton of work to do.  We had fun though.  Another snow day.  I think that is number 9 for the year.  I lost count.  Oh, and there was no way I was heading to the post office yesterday.  The rest of the day was full of freezing rain, snow and sleet.  Certainly didn't want the go driving out on the streets with the kids.  Today was a big shipping day!!!  Sorry if I'm a day late getting your orders out.  I know you all understand.

Our Caramel Mulberry Paper has ARRIVED!

It's finally here...

HUGE boxes of Caramel Mulberry Paper... custom made just for The Beary Scrap.  The yummy color that we all grew to love in 165gsm thickness.  You WILL NOT find this color and thickness ANYWHERE else but here!

Easy to work with and yummy to look at.  I'm really wanting a Caramel Sundae with vanilla ice cream and nuts!

Introducing Miko!

Hello Friends!  It was a hot one today!  I hear we can expect the same for tomorrow.  I took the day off today (boy, I needed one) to spend with my youngest Lindsay.  Her closing program for Nursery School was today.  Yes, I cried :(.  I can't believe how quickly the year went by and how fast she is growing up.  Before I know it, she'll be in Elementary Scool.  Abby and Dougie will not be done with school until June 4.  They would have been done this Friday if they didn't have to make up 4 snow days.  

Now that I have looked at the days flying by here, Lindsay's surgery is coming up pretty quickly which has reminded me that I have to pick up her pre-op meds tomorrow.  She is getting her tonsils and adenoids taken out on June 3.  I've tried my hardest to explain to her what is coming up (not to frighten her, but to prep her for it).  There is absolutely no way to explain surgery to a 3 year old.  Blood work was bad enough.  When we went through this with Abby it was much easier.  She was 6 and had some understanding.  Anyway, I will keep you posted on her progress.  Yes, I'm a "Nervous Nellie".

Enough of that... lets talk fun stuff.  Many of you have asked, begged and pleaded for a monkey pattern.  I honestly lost count of all the emails and requests made on our Facebook fan page.  Because I adore you all SOOOOO MUCH, I am pleased to bring to you our 2nd release for June 1.  Drum roll please....

He is a bit larger than any of our regular patterns.  Miko stands just about 5" when complete.  He's only larger because his legs are longer than our traditional Teddy Pattern.  His inner ears are small pieces of Cream pulled from reminant mulberry paper which is easy to do, even for the beginner.  I used only 1 layer of our 165gsm Mocha and our standard 150gsm Cream Mulberry Paper to create Miko's example.  2 layers of cream were used on Mikos belly and muzzle.  Everything else is only one layer.  And, he's got FLUFF!  Oh, I LOVE OUR MULBERRY PAPER!  I've gotta tell you, I adore this color combination for Miko.  I think he wears the color well.  Don't you? 

Additional pre-cut eyes (small tear drop) and the Miko's newly designed nose will also be available in our store on June 1st.  The nose even looks cute on Oliver and our traditional Teddy.
