Hamster Pets Mulberry Paper Piecings...

Hello Friends!

The other day, the kiddos and I took a trip out shopping.  We started our back to school shopping, amongst other things.  What an adventure.  I can't believe the summer is halfway over and the munchkins will be back to school August 23.  You know what they say... Time flies by when you are having fun.

During our shopping adventure, we took a trip to Toys R Us.  They usually have a good selection of book bags and lunch boxes.  Abby and Dougie already got theirs a few weeks ago, so it was Ms. Lindsay's turn to pick hers out.  I expected her to pick Mario Brothers or Sponge Bob (she likes to keep up with her older siblings) but she surprised all of us.  Wouldn't you know it, they make a Zhu Zhu Pet backpack and lunchbox!

Ms. Lindsay also earned a reward for achieving 5 days with "no accidents".  She's on her way to being a big girl.  So Mommy treated her to a new Zhu Zhu pet.  We now have 9 of them that scramble around our house - LOL.  While Hubby and I were tucking her into bed the other night, Lindsay asked me...  "Can you make me a fuzzy Zhu Zhu like a bear?".  Her little voice just melts my heart, so of course I said "Yes".

Here is what I came up with...

I still have a few areas to work on with them before you these adorable little hamsters as a pattern.  My daughter adores them.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs
